A void

The demise of Swami Ranganathananda has created a void in the world of spirituality. He communicated to the world Swami Vivekananda's philosophy of Advaita Vedanta. His lectures, interspersed with verbatim quotes from the writings of Toynbee, Max Mueller, Romain Rolland, Bertrand Russell and other Western scholars kept his listeners spellbound. He was recognised as an enlightened interpreter of Occidental and Oriental philosophies.
