TUTICORIN: : The police seized hooch from different parts of the district in a daylong raid conducted on Thursday and arrested Sekhar (42) and Perumal (53) in connection with this. Police sources told media persons that Sekhar was taken into custody from Udankudi bus stop with 100 litres of arrack in his possession, while Perumal was nabbed at Arumuganeri with five litres of toddy. They were remanded to judicial custody.
