NAGERCOIL: : A newly-married woman committed suicide under mysterious circumstances on Friday morning. According to police sources, Sumathi (23), daughter of Chelliah of Vellichanthai in the district got married to Manikandan, a wireman of the same area. Meanwhile, she consumed poison and committed suicide. The police could not ascertain the reason for her taking the extreme step. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
