Writ plea on Group-I main exam dismissed
Legal Correspondent
HYDERABAD:
The Andhra Pradesh High Court refused to interfere with the Group-I main examination scheduled to be held in May by the APPSC.
Some candidates had filed a writ petition complaining that two preliminary examinations cannot be held for one main examination. The preliminary examinations were held in March and October 2004.
Meanwhile, another set of candidates filed writ petition seeking change of the dates on the ground that the interviews are to be held on the same day by the UPSC.
Justice Dharma Rao said the UPSC would consider the APPSC request in April first week and refused to stay the mains examination to be held on May 1 and 2.
