ADILABAD: The Second Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court), K.V. Vijay Kumar, on Friday sentenced six persons to life imprisonment and fined them Rs. 5,000 each for killing a former friend of theirs at Mandamarri town on October 28, 2000. According to the Adilabad court liaison officer, E. Pochanna, Vasala Raju and Penukula Ravi, Basaveni Ravi, G. Ravi, Gajula Leelaiah and Marri Rajkumar (all residents of Mandamarri town) stabbed their friend, Gajju Kumar (28), to death at 7.30 pm on the fateful day at his house in Mandamarri police station limits. The prosecution was conducted by C. Mrutyunjaya.
