HYDERABAD: Over 97 per cent of candidates took the EAMCET-2005 even as students and teachers dubbed it an `error-free' and the most `standard' test held in recent years. "The quality of the question papers is not sub-standard and it will reflect in the results," said the teacher of a prominent coaching centre. Students said that the mathematics paper was a bit tough while questions in chemistry and physics papers were lengthy robbing their precious time. One question on `roots' in the botany paper was out of syllabus though everyone could answer it as it was an easy one. "Over all it is satisfactory that has pleased both students and teachers." The EAMCET-2005 convener, L.V.A.R. Sarma, said 1,14,742 candidates attended the engineering test in the morning and over 77,000 students took the medical test.
