UDHAGAMANDALAM: The identity of a woman who was found murdered here has been established. A week ago the body of an unidentified woman was found in a hotel near the Central Bus Stand here. A couple of days earlier the woman and a man had checked into the hotel. He had given his name as Shona Kumar. The man had gone out alone and not returned. Since a foul smell had emanated from the room the hotel staff had forced their way in and found the body. The woman was identified as V. Gini of Trichur. She had been employed in a knitwear firm at Tirupur in which Shona Kumar of Bihar was employed. A police team has left for Bihar.
