KURNOOL: Twentytwo persons were injured, nine of them seriously, in a road accident near Diguvametta on the Nandyal-Giddalur section on Friday. According to reports, a group of people from Boyelakuntla in Sirivel mandal boarded a lorry for Krishnamsettypalli near Giddalur. They were going to attend a function. The truck laden with fertilizer overturned near Diguvametta.
