Insurance staff plan stir

KOCHI:
As part of intensifying the agitation against the management, the General Insurance Officers All India Association has decided to withdraw the extra cooperation extended to it.
Henceforth, employees will not attend work beyond office hours and holidays, according to the State convener of the Joint Action Committee of the association, P.P. Mohanan.
The employees were working beyond office hours after the exit of about 8,000 employees through special voluntary retirement scheme, Mr. Mohanan said.
