``All aspirants for veto power''

Diplomatic Correspondent

NEW DELHI: A day after the United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan ruled out extending the veto power to additional permanent members of the U.N. Security Council, External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh said not only India, but other aspirants too wanted it.

Stressing that a decision on the issue would be taken in the General Assembly, Mr. Singh said special envoys were being despatched all over the world to lobby for India's entry.
