THANJAVUR: A unique one-hour dance programme `Pradhosha Thandavam' will be performed at the Big Temple from 5.00 p.m. on May 5, in view of Pradosham. According to a press release issued here by V. Govindaraj, Assistant Commissioner, Hindu Religious Charties and Endowment (HR and CE) department, Thanjavur Palace Devasthanam, the programme would be performed by Undumalai Sendhil, a classical dancer and a disciple of Dr. Padma Subramanyam. Udumalai Senthil has developed a special dance for Pradosham especially during the pradosha time 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. which he performs in various temples in the State, Pondicherry and Kerala.
