MUMBAI: After witnessing a marginal rise in inflows for three weeks, India's foreign exchange reserves rose by $1 billion to $142.54 billion for the week ended April 22, according to the Reserve Bank of India's latest weekly statistical supplement released here on Saturday. Foreign currency assets were up by $985 million to reach $136.60 billion for the reporting week. Gold reserves and SDRs (special drawing rights) remained static at $4.5 billion and $5 million respectively. The country's reserve tranche position in the IMF was up by $16 million to $1.43 billion.
