CHENNAI: Close on the heels of the retirement of Lakshmi Pranesh as Chief Secretary, the State Government on Saturday issued transfer and posting orders of three officers. K. Gnanadesikan, Secretary, Higher Education department and Secretary (in-charge), School Education department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Finance department. He replaces N. Narayanan, who has assumed charge as Chief Secretary. Girija Vaidyanathan, Chairperson, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB), has been transferred and posted as Secretary (Higher Education) and Secretary (in-charge), School Education department. The Secretary (Environment and Forests) will hold additional charge of the post of Chairperson, TNPCB, until further orders, an official release said. Apart from effecting these changes, the Government has transferred M.B. Pranesh, Principal Secretary (Labour and Employment), and posted him as Director, Anna Institute of Management, in the place of K. Arulmozhi, holding additional charge. The Additional Secretary, Public department, K. Nanda Kishore, has been transferred and posted as Tiruchi District Collector in the place of V. Pandian, retired from service on Saturday.
