BELGAUM: Mystery shrouds the death of Shivaji M. Bellary, a "follower" in the Karnataka State Reserve Police, whose body was found in a water tank on the KSRP campus in Machhe on the Belgaum-Jamboti road on Saturday morning. When contacted, the Station Commandant of the KSRP confirmed the incident and said a complaint in this regard has been lodged at the rural police station. Sources in the police station said the KSRP cited epilepsy as the cause of death. It is suspected that Shivaji suffered an epileptic attack while he was near the water tank. He had reported for duty at 5.30 a.m. The actual cause of death will be confirmed after obtaining the post-mortem report.
