THRISSUR: The State conference of the All Kerala IT Dealers Association (AKITDA) that will begin here on Saturday will focus on the problems of E-waste in the State. At a press conference here on Friday, the office-bearers of the association said clandestine attempts are being made to dump computers and other electronic equipment from developed countries such as the United States and Canada in developing countries like India. The State IT Mission and the Pollution Control Board plans to prevent such acts in collaboration with the AKITDA as it can poses environmental hazards in the State. Raghu Varrier, Jyothi Sankar, Joshy Francis and K.K. Manoj addressed the press conference.
