Digvijay Singh emerges winner

Digvijay Singh is champion

BANGALORE: Digvijay Singh with 40 points emerged the winner of the Airtel Celebrity Golf tournament played at the Karnataka Golf Association here on Saturday. Shruti Khanna was the runner-up with 38 points.

The results:

Celebrity event: 1. Digvijay Singh (40 pts), 2. Shruti Khanna (38 pts).

10-12 handicap: Sumit Rathor (40 pts), 2. Albert Mya Sen (38 pts).

13-24 handicap: Gautam Kodikal (46 pts), 2. Gurdip Singh (44pts).

Ladies Section: Purnima Sama (47 pts), 2. Tripta Ahluwalia (35 pts).

Team winners: Syed Kirmani, Suhail Rahaman, Sumit Rathor, Sujith Somasundar (115pts), 2. Digvijay Singh, Ramnivas Boob, Nikhil Sen and S. Ram (114pts).

Closest to the pin: David D'Souza 15th hole. Longest Drive: Albert Mya Sen (9th hole) Straightest Drive: Madhav Rao (2nd hole).
