THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Governor of Kerala, who is also the Chancellor of all the universities in the State, has appointed Pro Vice-chancellors (PVCs) for four universities. V. Jayapraksh, the Controller of Examinations, University of Kerala, will be its PVC. The PVC of Mahatma Gandhi University will be K. K. Yunuskutty, Principal, Iqbal College, Peringanmala and K.Kunhikrishnan, Director, Institute of Distance Education, Calicut University, has been appointed as the PVC of Kannur University. The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) will have as its new PVC, N. D. Eanasu, of the Department of Zoology, Christ College, Irinjalakuda. A final decision is yet to be taken on the appointment of PVC for the Calicut University. It was from a panel submitted by the Vice-Chancellors of the respective university, that the appointments were made by the Chancellor.
