Village tense after clash

KAKINADA:
The fishermen village of Bhiravapalem near here turned tense on Saturday following a clash between rival groups during the visit of the Mummidivaram MLA, Pinipe Viswaroop, in connection with Praja Patham. Four persons were injured, one of them seriously, in the clash. The MLA was forced to end the meeting abruptly.
The Police Sub-divisional Officer, Kanaka Rao, who is camping at the village said the situation was under control.
