TRS ridicules TDP stand

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has cautioned the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) not to betray "Telangana talli" and to change its stand on the separate statehood issue.

In a statement here on Saturday, the TRS leaders - S.Madhusudhana Chary, K. Yadagiri Reddy and B.L. Satish Mahajan - ridiculed the TDP for questioning the support of 29 political parties to separate statehood.

They claimed that Telangana would materialise shortly. The day was not far off when people would teach a fitting lesson to those who were opposing the issue.
