Nod for medical college near Hyderabad

HYDERABAD:
The Medical Council of India (MCI) has permitted the Joginpally B.R. Educational Society to set up Bhaskar Medical College at Yenkapally village in Moinabad mandal.
The college will start functioning from the academic year 2005-06 with an annual intake of 150 students.
J. Bhaskar Rao, Chairman of the society, told presspersons here on Saturday that the medical college had been established as per the norms of the MCI. It had senior and dedicated professors in all faculties. The college was just 16 km from the city. Mr. Rao said he proposed to provide quality education from KG to PG level at one place at Yenakapally.
B. Surender Rao, Principal, Bhaskar Medical College, said Bhaskar General Hospital was already functioning at Yenakapally for the last two years catering to the needs of 34 villages. The hospital was providing facilities in all specialities. He said the society was actively involved in providing quality education in engineering, MCA, MBA, Hotel Management.
