SANGAREDDY: The federation of youth associations termed the two-day public hearing held on April 11 and 12 in Jinnaram a farce and announced its intention to knock the doors of the Supreme Court for intervention.
Case of no case
Speaking to The Hindu the federation's vice-president, G. Venkatesham Goud, alleged that the police at the behest of the industries representative had beaten up mediapersons and environmental activists. He asked why no case has been booked on the industries representative who had allegedly manhandled the Green Peace member, Bidan. He said that all the video clippings, paper cuttings and photographs would be placed in front of the apex court as evidence. He alleged that the district administration, police and the politicians have acted hand in glove with the industrialists.
