MANIPAL: The former Chief Justice of India S. Rajendra Babu on Saturday said people should aim at perfection in character. He was speaking as chief guest at the Founder's Day celebrations of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Academy of General Education and the Dr. T.M.A. Pai Foundation here. Mr. Babu said that if one follows one's conscience, this can be achieved. This will help one in realising his potential, he added. Honesty is the best policy. "Duty" should be the watchword of one's life. True progress is to "know more, be more and do more," Mr. Babu said and lauded the achievements of the late T.M.A. Pai. The President of MAHE, T. Ramdas M. Pai, welcomed the gathering. The Registrar of the Academy of General Education, K.K. Pai Shantaram, proposed a vote of thanks. The Vice-Chancellor of MAHE, H.S. Ballal, and the President of the Academy of General Education, K. Mohandas Pai, were present.
