Chaitanya group opens AC campus

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: Sri Chaitanya institutions have opened two air-conditioned campuses for IIT aspirants at Narayanaguda and S.R. Nagar where highly qualified faculty from all over India will train the aspirants.

B.S. Rao, Director of the institutions, said it had been proved that AC classrooms enhanced the capability of learners, thus helping them in faring well in the examination.

He said nearly 800 students of Sri Chaitanya cleared IIT-prelims this year and half of them were from rural areas with Telugu medium background. "This proves that right coaching can open opportunities for normal students to the best institutes in the country," he said.

Narayana group's claim

As many as 1,813 students of Narayana educational institutions across the country qualified for the IIT-JEE to be held later this month. Of these, 792 are from Andhra Pradesh.

The Narayana group Chairman, P. Narayana, in a statement, said innovative teaching methods had resulted in the commendable performance of the students. "Students of the institutions had fared well in the Intermediate examinations as well," he said, adding that students from rural backgrounds were also among those who had qualified for the IIT-JEE.
