Heavy rain
The level in the Periyar dam stood at 111.6 feet with no inflow and discharge. The level in the Vaigai dam was 30.84 feet with an inflow of 78 cusecs and a discharge of 41 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 1513 mcft. The Vaigai dam received a rainfall of 14 mm, followed by Sothuparai - 13, Tekkadi - 8, and Periyar dam - 6 mm.
Yoga classes
The focus of the training will be to control diabetes, asthma, hypertension, obesity, synositis, stress and tension. Classes will be held for one hour at 5 a.m., 6 a.m., 10.30 a.m., and 5 p.m. Persons of both the sexes can participate. The 10.30 a.m. session is exclusively for women.
