Moot court contest

Andhra Mahila Sabha Law College for Women will conduct moot court competition on the issue of `Surrogate Motherhood' from May 2. The winners at the end of the two-day competition would be awarded Durgabai Deshmukh Memorial Rolling Shield, according to a release. - Staff Reporter

PF, pension adalat

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation will conduct a PF, pension "bhavishyanidhi adalat" at the office of the Regional PF Commissioner, Barkatpura, on May 10. P.Subramani, Regional PG Commissioner, said in a press release here on Saturday that grievances issues could be submitted to the office either in person or by post at least eight days in advance. They could also be faxed to 040-2761977. Persons should mention their full address, PF account number, details of the grievances and address of the establishment. - Staff Reporter

Shops to remain

closed today

Shops, establishments and factories in the twin cities will remain closed on Sunday on account of May Day.

Four special squads, comprising 21 inspectors, will conduct raids on the shops and establishments kept open on the day, according to a press release. - Staff Reporter

Yukti Educational Services will organise a free career-counselling seminar on May 1 at APSRTC Kala Bhavan auditorium, VST X Roads, for the benefit of students who are aspiring to pursue their career in engineering.

New bus services

The RTC city region has introduced three more buses from Secunderabad to ECIL X Roads, Balajinagar and Dammaiguda.

The Secunderabad-ECIL X Roads on route No.37 covers AOC Gate, Neredmet X Roads, Defence Colony, Saketh X Roads, Kandiguda, Eshwaripuri Colony and Radhika Colony.

The Secunderabad-Balajinagar (route No.24 B) goes via Jubilee Bus Station, Karkhana, Lalbazar, Ammuguda and Yapral while Secunderabad-Dammaiguda bus passes through Chennapur, Yapral, Ammuguda, Lalbazar and Jubilee Bus Station. - Staff Reporter
