BANGALORE: A 38-year-old businessman was murdered in his house in Muneshwaranagar in Ramamurthiangar police station limits on Saturday. The police said the body of Bhoopathiraj who traded in gold and owned a bungalow and a few houses, was found in the bathroom of his house with his hands and legs tied. He had a head injury, according to the police. The police said three persons came to the house of Bhoopathiraj and told the security guard that they were looking for a house. As he let them in, the wife of the businessman took them to the first floor. She came down after letting them speak to Bhoopathiraj. The three came down after half an hour and later left the house. As Bhoopathiraj did not come down even after a long time, his wife went to the first floor and found his body in the bathroom. The police were informed immediately. The police are yet to ascertain the motive for the murder.
