Minor girl raped

CUDDAPAHNELLORE: In a heinous crime, a minor girl aged four years, was allegedly raped by 35-year-old Natakala Nagaraju near a tank sluice at Vontimitta around Saturday midnight.

The girl was fast asleep on a cot in the foreyard of her house at Railway Colony in Vontimitta, when Nagaraju took her away and committed the offence, police said. The girl who bled from her private parts was sent for medical examination to Cuddapah Government hospital on Sunday, on a complaint by her parents. The accused is said to be at large.

Three end life

CUDDAPAHNELLORE: A mother, her son and daughter committed suicide in Lingampalli village of Podalakur mandal of the district on Sunday, allegedly by consuming pesticide. The police from Podalakur rushed to the spot and are conducting investigation.
