HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Party has demanded apology from the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, owning up moral responsibility for several instances of people being manhandled at meetings convened during the Praja Patham programme. At a press conference here on Sunday, the TDP leader, M.V. Mysoora Reddy, referred to two instances -- a meeting attended by the Endowments Minister, M. Satyanarayana Rao, at a village in Thimmapur mandal in Karimnagar district and another attended by the Agriculture Minister, N. Raghuveera Reddy, at P. Yaleru village in Atmakur mandal of Anantapur district. People's representatives were expected to behave more responsibly, he said. The TDP leader attributed fall in the pass percentage in the SSC examination to the Government's inability to fill vacant teacher posts.
