HYDERABAD: The Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET 2005) will be held at 20 centres in the State on May 4 and 11,210 candidates are appearing for the test, according to the convener, K. Lal Kishore. He said on Sunday that hall-tickets were despatched to candidates and details were also available on the website www.jntu.ac.in. Candidates, who had not received their hall-tickets, can approach the regional coordinators concerned to obtain duplicate copies on payment of Rs. 30 along with a passport photograph and acknowledgement card of the application on May 3. For ECE and chemical engineering candidates, who opted for Tirupati regional centre, the test centre was SPW Degree College and not SPW Junior College, he said. The test was being conducted in 11 different branches of engineering and pharmacy for diploma holders for entry into second year B.Tech regular programme.
