CUDDAPAH: The three-day Sri Venkateswara Adhbhutha Shanti Yagnam performed under the aegis of TTD Dharma Prachara Parishad at TTD kalyana mantapam here concluded on Sunday afternoon. The yagnam was performed by priests of TTD, under the supervision of the chief priest, Madambakam Srinivasa Bhattacharyulu, of Tirumala. Natural calamities, disturbances, lack of peace are caused by the Almighty's rage at evil acts of people and the yagnam would pacify the God's anger and atone for lapses in traditional religious rites and faux pas committed knowingly or unintentionally, said the priests quoting Sri Vaikhanasa Bhagatsastram.
Adhbhutha shanti is the most important then four other forms of shanti, such as prabhuthashanti, mahashanti, shanti and shuddhi, as per Vimanarchana kalpam, they said.
