Power shutdown

Power supply will not be available in the following areas between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. under Krishnalanka section on Monday. The areas are: Ranigari Thota, Nehru Nagar, Indira Colony, Gowthami Nagar, Dwaraka Nagar, Tirumalarao Veedhi, Dintyalavari Veedhi, Sankaramatham Veedhi and Ramalayam Veedhi. - Staff Reporter

Relay fast

Seeking reinstatement of 487 employees, whose services were terminated by the Andhra Pradesh Housing Board, activists of the CITU on Sunday, staged a relay fast in front of the Sub-Collector's office here. Despite several rounds of talks between the representatives of the employees unions and the State Government, there was no positive response from the Government on their reinstatement the APHB Employees Joint Action Committee convener, M.
