New bank chairmen
NEW DELHI:
The Government has appointed new chairmen for Punjab National Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India.
S. C. Gupta has become the new Chairman of Punjab National Bank while K. N. Prithviraj assumed office as the CMD of Oriental Bank of Commerce on Monday. P. K. Gupta, Chairman of National Housing Bank, has taken over additional charge as CMD of United Bank of India after Mr. Prithviraj moved over to OBC.
PNB Executive Director, K. C. Chakraborty, is tipped to become the Chairman of Indian Bank, PNB sources said. — PTI
