Boy held on rape charge

NALGONDA: The I Town police on Monday arrested a 14-year-old boy, Mohammad Ajim, of Islampura, on the charge of raping a four-year-old girl at Manyamchelka in Nalgonda town on Saturday.

According to the DSP, G. Anantha Reddy, the boy, a ninth class student, molested the girl when her mother was washing clothes in the backyard of their house and fled the scene. The victim is daughter of an autorickshaw driver.
