ECET: full sleeves, shoes banned

Staff Reporter

TIRUPATI: Attention well-groomed candidates, who are getting ready to write the ECET (FDH) 2005 on May 4. Test conductors have announced that candidates appearing for the test should not wear shoes, socks and full-sleeve shirts, fearing they could be used to conceal malpractice.

Though a similar rule was in vogue during the recently concluded EAMCET, this one has come more as a dictate. The principal of SVU College of Engineering and the Regional Coordinator for Tirupati, N.C. Eswar Reddy, has clearly stated in a release that the candidates are `prohibited' from wearing the above dress.
