ALAPPUZHA: The Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, will inaugurate the integrated drinking water and sanitation project of the Socio-Economic Unit Foundation (SEUF) at Sarvodayapuram here on May 3. The function will be held on the SEUF office premises at Sarvodayapuram at 3 p.m. The Minister for Water Resources, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, will preside. The Tourism Minister, K.C. Venugopal, will inaugurate a water-testing laboratory. The SEUF chairman, K.A. Pisharody, said the project was part of the Jiva Dhara project being implemented by the SEUF and nine NGOs in Alappuzha and Idukki with the help of the Netherlands Government.
