Press freedom

This refers to the article, `Remembering them on Press Freedom Day,' (May 3). The news that 71 journalists were killed in 2004 is sad. Journalists are the right persons to expose the blunders committed by people with money, administrative and political power, with the necessary evidence. The need of the hour is protect such people who work for the betterment of society.
