Oracle to buy PeopleSoft centres

BANGALORE: Hexaware Technologies on Tuesday announced that Oracle has exercised its option to acquire India Service Centre (ISC) located at Bangalore under the terms of the build, operate and transfer agreement between Hexaware and PeopleSoft (which was acquired by Oracle in January 2005). Hexaware had entered into this agreement with PeopleSoft in April 2003. The transfer is expected to occur in late October.
