Andhra Bank net profit at Rs. 520 crs.

MUMBAI: Andhra Bank has registered a net profit of Rs. 520.10 crores for the year ended March 31, 2005, a growth of 12.21 per cent over the previous year, after making an ad hoc provision of Rs. 101 crores towards proposed wage revision and depreciation of Rs.153.25 crores due to shifting SLR securities from AFS/HFT category to HTM category. The operating profit stood at Rs. 992.93 crores with a growth rate of 6.75 per cent.
