CHENNAI: The Executive Committee meeting of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), which met in Lausanne recently, took the following decisions. The 2005 World League for men will be held from May 27 to July 3, with the final round being played in Belgrade from July 8 to 10. The 13th World Grand Prix for women will span a four-week period from June 24 to July 18. The preliminary rounds are to be conducted in Japan, Italy, China, Korea, Macau, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand. The final round is to be held in Japan after 1997. The Grand Champions Cup is to come off in Japan in November and all the continent champions following the 2004 Olympics and an invited team would take part.
