Three inmates of Pondy Central Prison dead

PONDICHERRY:
Three prisoners died in the Pondicherry Central Prison after they allegedly consumed illicit liquor on Tuesday. Another accused has been admitted to the General Hospital as he complained of nausea. He was later discharged.
The deceased has been identified as Jagan, Murali alias Mohammad Ali and Poddda Peri Ayya. The first two prisoners are from Pondicherry and the other one is from Yanam. The incident happened at around 5.30 p.m.
The bodies have been kept in the General Hospital and the post mortem will be performed tomorrow.
