HYDERABAD: Income Tax RC defeated AC Guards Welfare Association 2-0 in the A-1 Division super league hockey championship at Begumpet Police Stadium here on Tuesday. A. Surender struck in the fourth minute of the first-half and Sekhar Babu in the 49th minute of the second. In the A-2 Division league match at Gymkhana Grounds, Young Hyderabad and Lucky Club were locked in a three-all draw. For Young Hyderabad, Syed Muqeeth, Nooruddin and Syed Musharath scored while for Lucky Club, Saifullah Khan, Syed Quadri, M.A.Hanif were successful.
