Devineni alleges protocol lapse

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Party MLA from Nandigama, Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, has written to the Speaker, K.R. Suresh Reddy, alleging breach of privilege by officials of the Krishna district administration.

At a press conference here on Tuesday, he referred to a series of official functions held in the constituency on May 1, coinciding with the visit of J.C. Diwakar Reddy, Minister for Panchayati Raj and district in-charge. Neither was there any intimation to him and other elected representatives of the TDP nor was there an invitation for them, he said.
