Mixed response to `shanti yatra'

Staff Reporter

WARANGAL: The `shanti yatra' by the APCC president, K. Keshava Rao, turned out to be a dull affair when it began at Issipeta village in Mogulapalli mandal in the district on Tuesday.

En route, the APCC president was joined by the party's second rung leaders and their followers.

The police had to resort to a lathicharge when BJP workers at Rangapur and TDP cadre at Laxmipur village came onto the yatra route and tried to highlight the problems of people.
