CUDDAPAH: Two persons were killed and 20 others injured when a bus on hire with APSRTC hit an autorickshaw near Masapet in Rayachoti town on Monday night. The autorickshaw owner-cum-driver, Shaik Basheerullah (22), died on way to the Rayachoti Government Hospital and Gadikota Venkataramana (51), succumbed to severe injuries on way to SVIMS at Tirupati. Ten persons, including Shaik Raja Saheb (46), three others -- Allah Bakash, Shaik Shamsheer (42) and Shaik Yaseen (30) -- and Subba Reddy and Shaik Mohd. Hayat sustained severe injuries. The mishap occurred when the bus driver tried to avoid running over a pig. In another mishap on Monday, 38-year-old C. Ratnamala of Hyderabad died and four of her family members were injured. heir Safari vehicle hit a culvert near Khajipet and overturned.
