LUCKNOW: The Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh today reiterated its demand for the dismissal of the Samajwadi Party-led government and gave a memorandum in this regard to state Governor T.V. Rajeswar. A BJP delegation led by party state president Kesharinath Tripathi and national vice president Kalyan Singh demanded the dismissal of the state government as the law and order situation in the state was worsening. In the memorandum, it was stated that the party had earlier demanded the government's dismissal and tried to make people aware of the chaotic situation in the state by way of a demonstration here on March 10. The memorandum also alleged that BJP workers were being harassed by the police. The delegation demanded the petrol pump robbery and murder case in Mainpuri on April 26 be probed by the CBI. -- UNI
