City to host national management meet
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
The State capital will host the All India Management Association's (AIMA) 32nd National Management Convention (NMC) on September 23 and 24, 2005 with the theme "Best of the Best: Insights from Indian and Global Organisations".
Announcing this after the first meeting of the convention committee, its chairman, B. Ramalinga Rao of Satyam Computers said this was the first time in the Hyderabad Management Association's 42 year-old history that such a prestigious event was being slotted here.
AIMA's Director-General, D.N. Khurana said of the 900 delegates expected, 15 per cent would be students of management from premier institutions across the country. The speakers would consist of the "crème de la crème" of the global industry -- people who have hands-on experience and those who have actually delivered the goods.
