Takes charge: V. Jayaprakash on Tuesday took charge as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university. Since 1998 he was the controller of examinations.

Parents' meeting: A meeting of the parents of BBA students (second and fourth semester) of the UIT Neyyattinkara will be held at the UIT at 10 a.m. on May 5.

Practical: The dates of the practical examinations for the sixth semester B.Sc Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry (restructured) and the fourth and sixth semester (vocational) Industrial Chemistry have been declared. The names of the colleges and the dates are given below.

Government College Kariavattom: May 11, 12, 13, 16 and 17; SN College Chathannoor: May 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20; St. Xavier's College, Thumba: May 16, 17, 18, 19, 20; TKMM College Nangiarkulangara: May 11, 12, 13, 16, 17; NSS College Nilamel: May 11, 12, 13, 16.

MCA results: The results of the fourth semester MCA examinations held in November 2004 have been published.

BDS results: The results of the second BDS examinations held this January have been published. Applications for scrutiny and revaluation can be submitted till May 21.

B.Tech results: The results of the third semester B.Tech examinations at the Mary Matha College of Engineering and Technology have been published. The results that had been withheld have also been published.

Postponed: The second semester B.Ed (restructured) examinations scheduled for May 6 have been postponed to May 10. There is no change in the centres and in the timings of the examinations.

Date extended: The last date for submitting applications for the aptitude test for admission to the MLI.Sc course at the Department of Library and Information Science has been extended to May 13.

B.Sc practical: The practicals of the sixth semester B.Sc Environment and Water Management examinations will be held at NSS College, Cherthala, on May 6 and 7, while the practicals of the fourth semester examinations will be held at the college on May 9 and 10.
