VAT issue

The controversial value-added tax (VAT) has come into existence through an ordinance. Unfortunately, it is being viewed as a matter entirely between the Government and the trading sector.

This is not true. The consumers are the end-users and have been affected. Already, the prices of several medicines and other goods have risen. Will the authorities take note?
