Records galore at Antigua

ST. JOHN'S (Antigua): Records in the West Indies-South Africa fourth and final Test which finished on Tuesday at Antigua Recreation Ground:

— 747 by West Indies, 7th highest innings all-time, 3rd highest by West Indies, highest against South Africa.

— 8 centuries, first time in a single Test; A.B. de Villiers (114), Graeme Smith (126), Jacques Kallis (147), Ashwell Prince (131) for South Africa; Chris Gayle (317), Ramnaresh Sarwan (127), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (127), Dwayne Bravo (107) for West Indies.

— 317 by Chris Gayle, 14th highest individual score all-time, fourth highest for West Indies, highest against South Africa.

— 147 by Kallis, becomes South Africa's greatest scorer of Test runs with 7,317, and centuries with 22, both surpassing Gary Kirsten.

— Mark Boucher of South Africa became third wicketkeeper after Australians Rod Marsh and Ian Healy to reach the double of 3,000 runs and 300 dismissals.

— 331 between Gayle and Sarwan, most for 2nd wicket against South Africa.— AP
