This Day That Age
We regret to record the death of Mr. N.V. Rama Rao, Andhra Minister for Agriculture, on May 4 at the Madras General Hospital where he was undergoing treatment for about a fortnight for heart trouble. He was 41. Mr. Rama Rao came to Madras from Kurnool on April 12 to inspect the local Andhra offices pertaining to his departments. The same day he became indisposed and, on medical advice, was admitted to the General Hospital. The body was taken by the Grand Trunk Express to Vijayawada from where it would be taken by car to Vangalapudi, his native village in Rajahmundry taluk.
